2019 Straight Russian Gelding

Maks is a beautiful, expressive and well put-together young gelding. If we had been looking for a stallion prospect we would have kept him as a young stallion, but as the saying goes "good stallions make great geldings" and he will make someone a stunning riding partner in the future. He is our first foal from Marquessa TWR (on lease from Sunriver Arabians) and we're thrilled with the results of this cross with our Nefison son Riurik. Riurik was trained and shown western pleasure, and with his oldest son now a riding horse for his new owner, we have no doubt Maks will follow in similar footsteps. His maternal grandsire Marxon was a Class A halter and most classic winner who also showed under saddle, and sired three endurance competitors along with a National winner in halter, Regional winner in working hunter and successful competitors in disciplines from hunter pleasure to western trail. We're looking forward to seeing what disciplines Maks will excel in, whether as a treasured trail partner, in the ring or competing in endurance.
He is offered for sale very reasonably while he grows up, we would love to see him in a home planning to raise him towards his under saddle career.
