Anna is a beautiful Nastasi daughter and was an important outcross for our program, particularly with her lines to Neman (sire of Nadir I), US National Champion Stallion Marsianin, and the Salon son Podsnejnik. She also gave us another opportunity to utilize the treasured Mammona dam line, this time through Monopolia's daughter Medea.

Anna produced the beautiful Mariella kgi for us in 2019, sired by our *Nefison son Merzifon kgi. As Merzifon has been underutilized by us during a slow time in our breeding program, Mariella is a special filly as his only daughter to date as well as a replacement for her dam, and we made the decision to retain her as a future broodmare.

Congratulations to Keena Van Horn on the purchase of Anna! Although it was a tough decision to sell her, we are thrilled she will have the chance to produce more foals and influence another breeding program.
