Mariella kgi (Merzifon kgi x Stolitsanna), 2019 straight Russian Arabian mare

Mari is a beautiful, typey filly as we could only expect from this cross. She is currently the only daughter of her sire, Merzifon kgi, a striking bay *Nefison son who we have not yet been able to use to his full potential as a sire due to the timing in our breeding program. She is also the first foal of her dam, Stolitsanna, a rare daughter of Nastasi and a gorgeous grey Russian mare as is typical of her Marsianin and Kilimandscharo breeding.

Mari's dam line traces to Mammona, one of the most significant and treasured in Russian breeding. With her sire also being linebred Mammona (with all four grandparents tracing to her in their tail female line), Mari is an exciting breeding prospect to continue these bloodlines. We're looking forward to seeing her mature and grow into her potential.
